Burgersdorp Cityscape/landscape Digital Painting
Hey everyone, i wanted to say thanks for all the support recently, i really appreciate it ! im gonna post more stuff in the future from process paintings to tips and worksheets that can help beginners get into drawing.
In the meantime i wanted to share a painting i made for my fathers birthday of his home town Burgersdorp. its a very small town in South Africa, its a farming community so its a tiny village . but its very scenic and relaxing and I spent alot of my childhood there. the name translates to citizens town and its where a lot of dutch people moved from the cape to settle and start their own community, its essentially the birthplace of the Afrikaans language or where it was first recorded as a language as they were already speaking it but had no written form of it, so the first bible in Afrikaans was written here and recorded as the first written version of the Afrikaans language . i might be a little bit off on my history but that's the sum of it.
