Colorful Ceramic Shot Glass

This little cup is a special one. It's small, only about 2 inches tall, but it was the first piece that I used this particular glaze combination on. Just one of the little cups that I like to try new glaze combinations on and it turned out amazing.

Of course, for every little cup that comes out like this, there are 10 or 20 cups that turn out okay-to-terrible.

The cup was thrown on the pottery wheel and glazed by hand. The little stamp at the bottom has an 'S' for my last name and part of a compass rose to symbolize the search for my own style during this part of my art career.

I still make plenty of cups and mugs with this glaze combination.
