JUST DISCOVERED THAT I OWN A TRUE AMERICAN/SPORTS MEMORABILIA LIMITED EDITION SIGNED PRINT! SO EXCITED!

I always had a weak spot for this print, it depicts a somber Houston Oiler quarter back (Houston used to house the oilers before the Texans - NFL) after losing against Pittsburgh Steelers 34 - 5.

Even though I didn't know who was the author (not one single google result on the name of the piece which makes this even a greater find!)

Now today I found out that the author is a former MLB player and prominent Sculptor.

Lawrence created numerous sculptures that are located in many prominent institutions and private collections throughout the United States.

Among his work:

JFK Tribute in Fort Worth
His bronzes sculptures are at the Air Force Academy,
the Naval Academy, Gettysburg, Ft. Bragg and a host of other sites.
Texas A&M university.
