Steemit users, greetings, I share with you a miniature representation inherent to "El indio de Cumaná", a painting made in a fast way, which ventures into the field of illustration.
Below I present a brief review of the original work, an emblematic monument, as the photographs reveal. I emphasize that this is a reference material that I found on the web. The illustration that I have made, hand painted, I later reveal it to the historical documents.

"When consulting the original sources, Official Gazette of the Sucre State and newspapers of the time on the date indicated, we find no mention of this important event in regional history. When we review the biography of the sculptor Giuseppe Pizzo - in charge of the realization of the work - published in the Biographical Dictionary of the Visual Arts in Venezuela, we see that the sculpture was made in 1955; coinciding this dates with the one settled in the official Gazette of the Sucre State of: 7-15-22-31 of December of 1955 and the newspaper Renacimiento of Thursday 1º of December of 1955. They indicate both sources that, within the frame of the programmed events on the occasion of the Third Anniversary of the Government of General Marcos Pérez Jiménez, among other acts the Inauguration of the "Allegorical Fountain at the Entrance of Cumaná". It was held on December 11, 1955 at 11 am "
I understand that this emblematic monument represents the generosity of Cumanés, for this reason I think it is an honor to have made the following process painted; to strengthen the values of the citizens that are part of this firstborn corner of the South American continent and the world.
