Inspiration Waits for No Man
Inspiration, that magical surge of electricity under the skin that makes you create and craft what ever it is you are passionate about. Hardly ever does it come when you want it to, and when you are ready for it. Inspiration doesn’t know how to tell time or follow a set schedule.
Sometimes inspiration lets you wait for it for weeks, only knocking at the most inconvenient of times, and other times it overflows for days at a time. You have no control over this mistress, you take what you get, or you don’t get it at all. Inspiration should be number one on your list of priorities, otherwise you might just loose it altogether.
Inspiration hardly ever comes when you want it to. It doesn’t come when you are well rested, hair and makeup ready, camera batteries charged and you have all the free time in the world. Oh no no no. Inspiration barges in when you least expect it to, forbidding you from sleeping and eating, overrunning all your prior engagements.
I think inspiration might be a synonym for love.

I had to stop waiting for inspiration years ago, the little devil is not a very fast friend and is indeed a fickle fair weather friend. IF I wait for her to come knocking at my door I'd never get anything done, so I've learned to reign her in and keep her to my schedule as much as I can.
I invite her in in the mornings and when I am done with her, I send her on her way. Now I am the fickle friend to Inspiration.
You must be one skilful master!
Beautiful combination of words and pictures. Haha.. yes, that inspiration is a tricky thing. Got me going all night, til 6 this morning. After I created a little animated "Butterfly" for superrare, I was so supercharged with more ideas, that I couldn't slow down....
It's wonderful when sometimes you get inspired and one thing just leads to another and you end up having a million new ideas.
Your words made me remember how wonderful inspiration is, and how I haven't had it in a while. I feel like it is tingling in my fingertips now that you've brought it back to memory.
The lighting on your face is just perfect. Wonderful pictures - they look so very honest. And your bed/view is making me really sleepy.
I’m happy to hear you feel inspired now, I hope it lasts!
Thank you very much. I actually pushed my bed against the window so I could get this light, and some great light in the mornings to my bed.
Perky post.
These look so intimate and pure!
Thank you so much darling!
Demure.
The word that came to mind when enjoying these images. You never cease to amaze me.
"Reserved, modest and shy", yeah, sounds just like me ;) Thank you.
The light of the full moon? But I see two in this picture!

Thank you!
So true I remember when I got the idea for my start up I was sitting at work and a friend asked for gift ideas for her boyfriends birthday and I decided to help her and I was like this sucks there’s gotta be an easier way..! It’s funny how such seemingly simple moments can actually be defining ones

I think being inspires is one of the best feelings in the world, don't you agree?
Agreed! It’s the stuff that gets you up in the morning with a smile on your face and the way things are going now that’s a rarity for many people!

Did you have to hold your breath to stay still enough to not appear blurred at that shutter speed? Or was the moon really that bright?
Haha pretty much yes, I think these were between 1/4 sec and 1 sec. It helps to use a remote with a self timer so I have two seconds to hide the phone and stay still :D
