[Article] the Muse

In the history of art, traditionally, muses are women that inspire artists and tingle their creativity. A lot of relationships between artists and their muses have been challenging and difficult, to say the least.

For you as an artist, what is the importance of finding yours? The muse inspires when there is no motivation for the artistic production; she awakens the desire of representation, and contributes to the overall creativity of the artist.

Famininity and sensuality are the inspiration for men since the beginning of time. Our original sin, as described in the bible, was motivated by this desire; consequentely, every major achievement has been reached for the same reason.

With art it is not different. A variety of masterpieces contain the history of muses in their strokes and rhythms. It is probably not an exaggeration to say that, finding the muse is the first step to fully becoming the artist you can be? So, what is your muse?
