Dreemit's interpretation of @everlove's Collaborative Art Journey..."RIBBON OF HOPE" No. 24
From the moment I first saw one of @everlove 's collabs I found myself wondering if it would be possible for me to use an artistic expression outside of writing to contribute.
Today is that day.
Everlove's Collaborative Art Journey no. 24 A Ribbon of Hope
Though I obviously chose to simulate her art with the color and the shape, this also does represent hope for me. Because generally when I am creating these doodles, I am also plotting out a story. And there is nothing I find more hopeful than a story being born.
Since joining this platform in November I have expanded my horizons from fiction writer to blogger and photographer. Adding a bit of drawing to my expression is exciting.
Thank you steemit!
Generously created for me by @son-of-satire
Yippee!!!! You did do it!!! And you drew it and it's awesome. It's so cool that you are breaking your own barriers and expanding into new horizons. I think that's one of the most beautiful things about this artists' community...s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g!! I love your interpretation, very organic and wholesome feeling. I imagine that is a good reflection of you dear @dreemit. Thank you so very much for sharing yourself with us.
Thank you so much, the woman who lives up to her screenname everday, you are undoubtedly everlove! I know that I put in the photoshopped picture with a poem, so technically I've contributed once before, but I really, really wanted to make my own art without words, so thank you for inspiring me to do it!
Yay! I love inspiring! Your words are such an art--I'm grateful you are expanding into the visual arts as well. You obviously have such a creative and expressive spirit. So glad you're here playing with us.
There is nothing more hopeful! Well done on the drawing!
Thanks! It was fun to do :) Fortunately I did it before our work shoveling rocks on my parents driveway--which was followed up by visiting a new cool brewery, I will definitely be posting about that when I'm not exhausted :)
Excellent interpretation and development of that image.
There is nothing like the validation of an artist I admire :)
I could clearly see how someone would easily interpret this as a ribbon of hope and what makes the symbol of hope prosper is the motive behind it.
Doodling is what you do when you are free, you let your hand to ducks and tucks left up down right letting the ink flow for the sake of relief.
Another superb doodle @dreemit

I did draw it and I am interested in art though I mostly write:) That's very pretty. You should check out the link I posted for @everlove's collaboration and give it a go.
Hello @dreemit
That is a very nice illustration and it definately has a story behind it.
The illustration looks more ying yang ish. A play of red and white.
When I saw it the first thing that came to my mind was the human brain and the mystery it carries.
@ogochukwu
Hi @ogochukwu! It's nice to hear from you, that's a neat way to see it :) I'll visit your page soon!
Okay, looking forward to hearing from you
I like these doodles, there's a kind of psychedelic influence in them, I've seen this before; once, the keys on my piano formed a similar shape in the middle of a tune. It was in black-and-white though.
Really? That's incredibly cool to imagine, especially that we've both had this image-mine pertaining to stories, yours to music:)
It reminds me of the patterns that I saw once, like the keys kept dividing into branches of black and white. Your doodles have an organic quality, like they are alive.
I love this! I love that you took the time to make this, thank you.
Huh, you're actually the second person to use the word organic about them. I like it :)
I need a much bigger piece of paper to do it properly :)
Looks soooooo very amazing... Its so good.😍
Check out my drawings at my blog too.. Please have a look at

I appreciate the compliment, thank you. But I have to warn you that most of the people on steemit, especially those that have been here for a long time, look at links being posted to a comment as spam. There are tons and tons of articles about it, and a great many people have started flagging comments with links, and most will just ignore a comment that contains a link. I'm unusual.
A better way to do this would be after the compliment just simply say that you are new here and than you are also an artist. You might say "I hope one day you will take a look at my blog." Then you make sure and return to this same person. If you diligently write nice comments to someone than you are much more likely to attract their attention to your page.
