The action takes place in the Post-crisis/Pre-Flashpoint Earth-16.
<Mount of Justice, September 26, 10:00> After learning from Batman that the Brain has started a new operation to introduce Kobra-Venom in the Bwunda jungle, the Team goes on their new mission.
<Bwunda, September 26, 20:11> While searching for a Brain base in the jungle, the heroes are attacked by a group of intelligent gorillas, whose leader is Solovar. The latter throws Superboy into a tree. When Kon-El and Robin hear Miss Martian scream, someone knocks them out from behind. When Conner wakes up, he realizes that it was Grodd. Ignoring the strange collar, Kent tries to deal with it. But, as soon as the main character approaches, the collar hits him with a powerful discharge, and Grodd knocks him out.
Waking up, the shackled Superboy sees Richard in front of him, who takes off his collar. A second later, the Team is attacked by: Brain, Ultra-Humanite, Monsieur Mallah and Grodd. When Solovar arrives with M'gann knocked out, she wakes up and says that the first, Grodd and most of the monkeys are on the Team's side. Con-El knocks out Mallah and several agents. When the Brain activates the process of self-destruction of the base, the heroes and gorillas take off their feet during.
<Bwunda, September 27, 04:15> The team helps the latter to find a new home. However, according to Solovar, Congorilla disappeared somewhere. Before leaving, the heroes promise to help the gorillas build a "Gorilla City".
