Steemit Exclusive! - My Collection of unpublished Artworks - Vol. 4 - Adam & Eve and even more weird stuff!

in #art6 years ago

Welcome to Part IV

of my lost paintings collection. I thought it would be nice to start showing all the paintings which haven't made it onto my homepage or my book and are known only by a handful of people.

I started painting rather late, at the age of 26, and my first years were characterised by heavy experimentation. I didn't know much about painting techniques or colors and my approach to art was therefore very innocent and light. I just didn't think so much while painting...it was a very liberating act. Now that I know much more about painting, sometimes I wish I could go back to the old days were I just let it all happen, without wanting too much.

This post is part of a whole series, so stay tuned for more previously unreleased paintings...

"Die Wundersame Verwandlung" | acrylic on canvas | 50cm x 70cm | 2008

This "wondrous transformation" happening to the guy on the painting is actually a bit sad because he never really wanted to turn into a giant smiley. But as he reaches out into the image, he just can't stop to slowly take on the cirular shapes predominant in the painting. I am honest here...that was a very quick one and I have no idea what I was thinking :-)

"Adam Atomica" | acrylic on canvas | 40cm x 60cm | 2009

This one, called "Adam Atomica", is (obviously) about Adam who was left alone in Paradise. As there is no other human being to interact with, he is studying the universe instead. And after 100 years of Soleness he reaches a sacred moment of surrender. It's about the connection of with the greater source.

"Evametropolis" | acrylic on canvas | 50cm x 70cm | 2009

And meanwhile...Eva in a very strange dimension. I have absolutely no idea what she is doing there or what comes out of her rear end. She might be looking for Adam...

"Flux Kondensator" | acrylic on canvas | 40cm x 60cm | 2009

No real concept, just an experiment with colorful glazes over white acrylic lines. It's still a mystery why so many artists, when they start to paint, use eyes all over the place. Especially in visionary and psychedelic art.

"The Divine Glare" | acrylic on canvas | 40cm x 80cm | 2009

The guy in the image is blinded by light. By the light of divine transformation. There are two beings in the air which are messengers between the worlds. He can see them because his eyes have been opened. It is still very bright but he will adopt to the new situation and become a modern day Buddha. A life to inspire others...

"Atomengel" | acrylic on canvas | 30cm x 50cm | 2009

I hope you enjoyed this little peak into my vault of forgotten artworks. I hope to see you again for the next part. Until then...take care, love a lot and be creative my friends.

"Instead of art I have taught philosophy. Though technique for me is a big word, I never have taught how to paint. All my doing was to make people to see."
