INSTALLATION PAINTING OF EYO

The painting is an installemental painting done in three piece portraying the colourful EYO festival.

EYO
EYO is a ceremonial masquerade commonly found in Lagos, Nigeria. Their garb mostly consists of a long flowing white gown, a decorated cap topped off with the masquerade holding a long staff inscribed with traditional motifs.

PAINTING
Before the painting was accomplished, it went through several process. First is the production of the marquee - a small prototype.

After the production of the marquee, three identical canvas are constructed. Then the drawings are transferred before being painted upon.

This result in the final piece.

The painting is done in a primary colour scheme.
