Anubis ashtray made with African Blackwood

So I'm going to make another ashtray based on Anubis, ill be using African Blackwood. The gloss black part of the middle piece is what this wood looks like naturally when polished. No dyes or stain used
I've never used an exotic wood before so this will be afirst but i think it's going to turn out really well. I'll keep updating, if you've worked with exotic wood before and have any tips id love to hear it, thanks
