Why images matter OPEN FOR DISCUSSION!

As I have been exploring the art section of steemit these past few days. People are trying to make $$$ with their art here on steemit.

Since we're bombarded with images in our daily lives, people tend to forget the value of image, imagelanguage, art. It's like we're taking them for granted.

Pictures, images, figures and even the way words are pictured have meaning. For example if the image doesn't fit the definition to the word it represents, that will create an error in our brain! We can call them optical illustions.

Even for the steemit logo, the 3 shapes that represents steam. The logo and word makes sense to each other. But we would probably question ourselfs and take more time to look at it, if steemit's logo would consist out of leaves!
