My Facebook Mural

I was invited to do a commission in the Facebook European HQ (Dublin) in 2014.
From digital to analogue Construct was inspired by Conway's Game of Life: John Conway's 1970’s project to simplify the earlier theories of John Von Neumann. Both mathematicians imagined a hypothetical entity which could build copies of itself, evolving from set rules describing imbedded behaviours. Situated in the engineer's department in the Facebook HQ Construct explored how actions and behaviours can be formed within and by designed social structures.
