This is Tebas, my Mom's town, funded long Time ago by my Grandfather Cadmus son of Agenor and brother of Europa. Enter Cadmus and the blind prophet Tiresias as old men. They are going to the Cithaeron mountain to celebrate Dionysos' rite, paticipating in bacchanalia in body and heart. But then, enter Pentheus (played by Heracles)
and laugh of them. "I have forbiden those rites and parties, didn't you know? And I will put that @Bromius in chains for making the chaos grow. Even my dear mother is chanting and dancing completely naked and drunk!!"

So, King Pentheus an his brave men, took Dyonisos or Me as prisoner and also to my Maenads but I'd set them free. I was talking with Pentheus about the Nature of the gods and how he must to each one of Them give honors and prays. But he insisted in the falseness of my divinity... And He put me in Jail!! So, Hybris was there!! :/

Once in prison there was no option but put that Palace in Flames!!

Once free I was again with Pentheus laughting at Him when a messenger came with horrid news.
All my Maenads and Bacchae, including Agave Pentheus' Mother, were terrorizing villages and towns, making fires without burning, drinking animals' blood. With a helpless and crying Pentheus I said to the Messenger: "Leave Us alone!"

For these scene I invited Sir Ian Mackellen to play Pentheus and Desmond Hill as Me
Here's the Patronage
The Messenger is for everybody known.

Pentheus was ready to receive any suggestion through soft and pleasant words, so I convinced Him to see with his own Eye the nature of Dionysos' Maenads and Bacchae and visit Cithaeron mountain with a special costume in which He would be never recognized... And I helped Him a little with the design!! <3

And thus Pentheus went to face the unknown, finding that you must never be superb with a God.

Triumphant Agave returned from Dionysos' celebrations and mysteries and bring a Trophy with her, but She was in Ecstasy, She was full of Joy and She was blind. She, who denied the divinity of her sister Semele's child, Myself... Her own son She horribly killed him herself!!

Only shame and despair remained for Cadmus and Agave, father and daughter and them exile themselves from Tebas finishing this drama full of peripeteia, catharsis and lots of tears.
