Welcome to my post steemers i will explain to you my process of ilustration of one fanart that i made from the league of legends champion zoe.
Do separated sketch with the pose u want to do for the character
do the sketch with pencil 2H to avoid marks or mistakes that will interrup or make more dificult our work with the soft liner
Now trace with the soft liner after finished all the guide sketches , if you don`t have confidence in your pulse. Practice for while in another paper , before drawing your desired character
now. integrate color to give , better volume , you can do this by giving soft layers of color to each part of the character
now integrate shadows with darkers colors , you dont necesaraly have to use black color to give the felling of depth , also with white maker or acrylic paint is really easy way to give brightness to the drawing
Almost Finish! Now we need to highlight the drawing. with the zone where the most amount of shadows would be , we do this to give the position where the light is coming from. now for last you can add background and you name on the side :v
To improve your technique with colors , is good to practice with different tonality that you can get by different c contrast of colors , this practice helps alot in the long run , thank you for reading my post hope u liked and have wonderfull day :3
