Watercolour of Findings in the English Countryside.....Part II
Watercolour of findings in the English Countryside.
...............original watercolour by @bleujay; presented by @bentleycapital.
A photograph of the watercolour filtered to black and white for the purpose of value/tone study.
'English Hedgerow Flowers II'
Thank you for your interest Steemians.
For those interested in details.....
This watercolour is the end result from drawings sketched in the English countryside of the lovely flowers that seem to spring in every nook and cranny of the hedgerows.
The black and white photograph of the finished painting assists in ascertaining whether the painting is 'reading' or has depth and a variety of tone.
Cheers.
It's just beautiful, incredible work @bentleycapital

But I'm not always able to keep track of all the posts

So true....it makes all the difference....does it not?
Lovely work you have out there.

Another wonderful work of art. The flowers almost seem to be dancing to some unknown music. Excellent use of cool colors in the background which push the red subjects forward to greet the viewer. Bravo!
Thank you for stopping by @rockykelley.
Very kind words indeed.
Appreciate hearing your thoughts.
All the best.
Cheers.
Another beautiful piece @bleujay. I can imagine these english flower watercolors matted, framed and hung along the wall of a straight hallway - with subtle spotlights from the ceiling. Soft creamy painted walls and gun metal oak flooring highlighting the vivid yet muted colors.
Thank you for your thought-full reply @countrygirl.
That sounds a splendid setting indeed......the adjectives assist immensely. ^__^
Appreciate you stopping by.
All the best.
Cheers.

A black and white has some inexplicable mystery and an elusive atmosphere. It carries in itself not just beauty and enthusiasm but also a deep meaning!

No matter how much we talk about the emptiness of life, sometimes only one flower is enough to dissuade us
