For those interested in details......
This digital-art is the a result of seeing a beautiful sky, taking the photograph, putting that photograph through a filter that embossed the photograph.......this was for the purpose of texture as the leaves of the primrose have quite a bit of texture which is sometimes hard to recreate. The photograph was then taken to a sketchpad app with various tools and colours.....with the finished result you see here.

Your query is appreciated........interesting thoughts.....you might be surprised to know bleujay thought the colours vivid. ^__^
....having said that I have used neon colours before.....whilst I appreciate what they bring to a work......I fear the work will not stand the test of time. Some things in the works may have what you are referring to......we'll see.
