'Lemons In A Cup'....From Drawing to Digital Artwork.
'Lemons In A Cup'
.....original sketch and digital artwork by @bleujay; presented by @bentleycapital.
Original drawing....photographed from bleujay's sketchbook.
Personal photograph of an Oriental rug.
Finished digital artwork.
For those interested in details......
This particular sketch is from a still life set up with bright lights in order to enhance the shadows formed by the stoneware using different strengths of pencils from 6B to a 9B by which one can achieve a variety of values......which provide both interest and depth.
Taking the sketch to digital artwork required taking a photograph of the drawing and a photograph of a background (which in this case was a rug) and then using a sketch app with a variety of tools.
Thank you for your interest.
Happy New Year......Cheers.
I very much like this, a breakdown on the process behind the great art! I like the way you have combined them!
Thank you for your kind compliment @meesterboom.
Appreciate hearing your thoughts.....very encouraging. This forever blockchain can be a bit intimidating for the artist or writer for that matter......it seems the work could always use a bit of improvement.....right?
This is a fine day for Steemians....is it not?
Are you ready to be self-employed? ^__^
Wishing you and yours all the best.
Cheers.
It is a magnificent day for steemians! The prudent part of me will wait a little longer for that ;0)
And yes the blockchain can be, there is always the temptation to change or tweak something but the blockchain remembers!
nice one!
the rug made it look like it was on a table on top of that rug :)
digi art is magic isn't it :)
Thank you for your kind reply dear @englishtchrivy.
I had to take another look...now that you said that....and it does.

Welcome to Steemit.

Oh thanks for this nice idea. I wanna try this too... My friend used to draw using charcoal pencil. First, he takes a photo of an object, then he prints and photocopy it, after that he copies the the drawjng and it is easier to draw the shadows with the help of photocopied picture. The result was great! Your digital art work is also awesome. Great job!
amazing ou are talent
Two seemingly unrelated works, one of them done on paper and the other done with strings, and then the perfect fusion in the digital world... Amazing!
Thank you for your really cool thoughts @stochasticmind.
