Dreamscape
There is a dream land far from here
A land so beautiful and sweet
Filled with anything you can imagine
And you visit it in your sleep
This land is called the dreamscape
It's a place where we are free
It's a place where anything is possible
And what "can not"...."can be"
I wish I could live here
But not on my own
There is someone very special
Of whom I'd like to also call it home
If we could just be in our dreams
If we could just fly away through the clouds
If we could just dive down into the water
With no fear that we would drown
Don't you see how this is beautiful?
Don't you see that it's a gift?
This dreamscape that we see at night
This dreamscape that we have come to miss.
I hope you all enjoyed this poem, along with the art! I really enjoyed creating it. I wanted the contrast of a peaceful sleeping face compared to somber verses. The character I drew, I wanted them to look content and I wanted their the surface they were laying on to be soft, feathers falling to represent the feeling. The last image is a picture I took of the night sky as I was sitting on a field with someone of great importance to me. You can create memories from anything with anyone. Take everything in, create memories and dream. Take care everyone!
