Sometimes you foolish mortals call upon me to divine the future. Then I will come to you as Nachash the many-splendoured serpent. My forked tongue will tell you the truth but you will not truly hear. You will be mesmerized by my glory. You did not ask the question you thought you asked. You did not hear what you thought you heard. The future is no place to look for answers when the questions are in your past.
