Daily digital art 01

There is a world in my head filled with images and stories. It has a million stories to tell but mostly without words. There is a need to share them and although I want to be a good artist, techniques are inferior to the subject.

So naturally I don't give in, I have to learn and practise technique. Because intellectually I know that with better technique I grow my abilitie to share.

I only once met somebody who had the same desire in the same way. It was a little boy who wanted to learn to draw. That day only two boys came by so I had a lot of time to help them. Within five minutes we communicated half in words and half in fast drawings. I know what that day meant to him because his mother contacted me to tell.

For me it was a special day too, by seeing him I recognised myself as a little girl. I have told him some things I took the long/hard way to learn. I hope I made it a bit easier for him.
