Boom-Girl. Acrylic Paint and Grained Canvas For Color Control.
Yesterday, I first decided to try to use acrylic paint in combination with watercolor. And it's just an amazing feeling. All the colors are under your control. Acrylic dries pretty quickly which prevents the mixing of colors and allows you to use different color layers.
But equally important was the change of canvas. If you want to get even more control over the picture, be sure to try to draw on the clay canvas (any grit). You can easily direct the movement of divorces in the right direction. But this canvas cost about 7-10 dollars.
And as always, as an exercise, I decided to repeat art of one of my favorite artist, Lora Zombie.
My biggest mistake was that I decided not to sketch with a pencil, because of this, the final image began to crumble under layers of paint. But that's OK, because this a way to learn how to avoid basic mistakes, I'm learning.
