Strong independant woman

I don't understand how someone can say one thing and mean something completely different.
Someone should give credit where credit is due. Shouldn't they?

If you do what you love you will never have to work a single day in your life. Well if only my hobby paid my bills.

No? Well then let's get back to that job....
I was unfortunate enough to have worked hard and poured my heart and soul into it all and I am afraid that I have reached that point in my life where I no longer give a damn about that person's opinion of me.

I am a hard worker and I do try my utmost best to complete my work to the best of my abilities but today I am done.

Then a little voice in my head whispers to me: " Your mother did not raise you like this!" Afterwhich I pick my head up and start working again...

I was not raised to be a low life whom just expects the money to come their way without any work. NO, my mother had to raise a strong independent woman, who could earn her living on a fair and noble way.

I don't know where I would be without her. Probably in a ditch somewhere cold and lonely wearing only one sock!
