Hello! Here's an animated experiment from weeks ago...
As in other works I've shared there's a visible inspiration on the Op-art movement.
Although Art has always been one of my passions along with design, Optical Art in particular has been one of my greatest influences, not only in terms of style but also in the way it expanded our understanding of human perception.
I grew up in country highly influenced by this style, a place where works from artists like Victor Vasarely can be seen everyday at the university, covering its walls from side to side and not only inside museums. The works of Jesus Soto and Carlos Cruz-Diez have their roots in Venezuela as well and for many Venezuelans that's one of the greatest legacies and reminders of the the country we once were.
I do believe art has the power to transform society, and growing up there, looking at those magnificent demonstrations of Public Art everyday is the most spectacular evidence that no matter what happens, people will always treasure and be inspired by the manifestation of the creative force.

Como en otros trabajos que he compartido anteriormente, hay una visible inspiración en el movimiento Op-art.
Aunque el arte siempre ha sido una de mis pasiones junto con el diseño, el arte óptico en particular ha sido una de mis mayores influencias, no solo en términos de estilo sino también en la forma en que expandió nuestra comprensión de la percepción humana.
Crecí en un país muy influenciado por este estilo, un lugar donde las obras de artistas como Victor Vasarely se pueden ver todos los días en la universidad, cubriendo sus paredes de lado a lado y no solo dentro de los museos. Las obras de Jesus Soto y Carlos Cruz-Diez también tienen sus raíces en Venezuela y para muchos venezolanos es uno de los mayores legados y recordatorios del país que una vez fuimos.
Creo que el arte tiene el poder de transformar la sociedad, y crecer allí, observando estas magníficas demostraciones de Arte Público todos los días, es la evidencia más espectacular de que sin importar lo que suceda, las personas siempre valorarán y se inspirarán en la manifestación de la fuerza creativa.
