Artwork 💗 Floral Love Mandala

I started drawing a heart the other day to represent Valentines day and it quickly turned into a colorful mandala nature art piece. Originally I wanted to just do a black and white mandala with a colorful background (you can see below) but decided to color it all in. It reminds me of a blooming heart filled with growth. There is also an amethyst crystal that it is hanging from which represents purifying the mind, and is also my username on here :)

The coloring isn't perfect, as I used the paint bucket tool in between all these tiny lines, but it was meditative to do and I love how it turned out with the complementary colors and tones.

Below is my original art idea I wanted to do, with a colorful background and black and white art in the middle but am happy I changed my mind and made it in color. I still do really love how it looks like this though.

While doing this artwork I listened to an audiobook called "Ask and the Universe Will Provide" by Stephen Richards. It was a chapter when he was saying a ton of positive affirmations for a while and I feel it has really helped me feel better inside. Listening to positive stuff while doing art is a great way to implement it into your subconscious as your mind is in a different level, you aren't really thinking too much but are open to what thoughts arise. It is super meditative and helps you release the constant chatter in your mind. Even if you do not do art to be able to meditate with it, it is always important to spend even 5 minutes everyday just stopping, sitting still and listen to your true self. Be in tune with you!

@amethystrosee This is amazing, you're quite an artist :)

Thank you! I appreciate you saying that :)

Super cool, love the colors! Makes me think of the tropical plants everywhere when I lived in Costa Rica. My heart is still there I think,I miss living there , especially during winter lol

Thank you! Wow, living in Costa Rica must of been so amazing, why did you move back to the cold!?

The company that I worked for closed :( It was hard to find work there

You should try to go back somehow, find a new job! Or maybe you can live there and just do steemit full time :D

I hope that happens! I plan to go back eventually :) Now art is my full time career, so, I'll have to not only move myself but my business which makes it a bit more complicated. Maybe I'll start by spending just a few months there in winter again next year.

Even vacation for a few months sounds great!
