Im in no way an artist, so I can't really give you helpful advice...
But go you for trying to learn how to draw, its definitely not an easy process.
I tried a long time, literally ages ago, and gave up after awhile. It's just something I think people are naturally good at.
Your on the right track tho, I remember learning the same way.
If i can give you any advice its just to not get discouraged.
Sure it might not be appealing at first, but u just might be the next piccaso good sir.
