ice scream made from the polluted waters of Taiwan highlight the critical state of the country. Would you taste?

in #art7 years ago (edited)

A project by the Taiwan National University of Arts to raise awareness of ever-increasing pollution as a result of economic growth and city urbanization took students Hung I-chen, Guo Yi-hui and Cheng Yu. By taking a sample from hundreds of different water sources, they prepared a basic blend for (non) tasty lances on a wooden stick. Unique packaging represents the place of collection and, in order to prevent their melting, the water is replaced by a color identical polyester resin. In this "strain" of the mass, perhaps all kinds of plastic waste are missing from closures through pockets to the bottles themselves. We think that the main idea of the authors has been fulfilled, and each of us, at least for a moment, reflects on these 100 shades of Taiwanese water. Do you also consider yourself an ecological resident of the planet, or do you have room for improvement within your scope? Take into account all aspects such as waste separation, the use of renewable energy sources, drinking water waste, and so on. The fact that you are not currently in a dirty environment does not mean you can prefer your comfort to our planet.
