PREMIER!: HOW TO DRAW PEOPLE IN THE CORRECT PERSPECTIVE AT DIFFERENT DISTANCES

Hello my Steemian friends!

I want to show you my brand new tutorial on a premier here on Steemit, a day before it goes live on YouTube!

Here I give a simple but powerful tip regarding the size and proportion of people when we draw them at different distances.

First, we draw the horizon line, which will also be the height of the viewer's eyes.

Then we draw the main character, usually close to us.

Then we mark a vanishing point that can be anywhere on the horizon line.

Trace vanishing lines from the top of the head and from the base of the feet to the vanishing point.

Now we know the height of people at any distance, as long as they are in line with the first person.

But what if we want to draw other people, let's say to the right or left, at different distances? What would the correct size for each be? The answer is simple:

We draw a horizontal line from the base of the feet (the point our little person will be standing) all the way to the vanishing line. Then another line straight up to the upper vanishing line, which gives the length we need, and we bring this height with another horizontal line, back to the place our person will be. Now you can draw him or her of the correct size.

Let's do the same for a person in a different location.

That´s it! You can watch the video tutorial here (before it is live on YouTube!)

I really hope this was helpful. If so, please upvote! Thanks! :)

All the best,
