Dagbon Kingdom

Hi to all my steemit friends and family.I will like to share this attractive story about Dagbon Kingdom with you.
Dagbon Kingdom is found in the Northern part of Ghana in West Africa.The people in this Kingdom speak Dagbani.
The Supreme ruler of Dagbon Kingdom is called 'Yaa Naa', which means the owner of strength.

Yaa Naa is the supreme ruler and have power to rule and control all the activities in the kingdom.Yaa Naa Gariba II is the current Ruler in Dagbon Kingdom.The above image is him sitting on horse.
Yendi is the sitting place of Yaa Naa.Yaa Naa is using Lion as his symbol, which indicates how powerful he is in the kingdom

Some of the important towns in Dagbon Kingdom are Tamale,Yendi,Savelugu,Mion, Gbullung etc
Dagombas have rich culture and have several kinds of dance.
