I guess we have all been there.
Being shouted at for not paying attention to their stories. Suddenly in a matter of second, you are being executed for a situation from weeks ago, you long forgot about.
By the time you manage to remember, the conversation is back in the present and you just cannot keep up. You decide to give in and you just let it happen.
To sound like a vitamin commercial: Are you feeling down, controlled and cannot fight back . Well there is some work to do but once you get the pill down your girlfriend’s throat, lay back and enjoy.

You have to get your girlfriend to accept these 3 rules and enjoy enforcing them during your arguments. Didn’t say it’s easy, but if she does, man it will be fun.

1. You cannot bring up the past. Whatever happened, happened. She should have brought it up that time. Now you feel it’s unfair as you cannot remember fully etc etc etc. NO PAST.
2. You cannot change the subject. If you screwed up shopping and forgot milk, admit it but that’s where it ends. Don’t let her shift to your last night behavior and your alcohol problems. MILK it is and no more!
3. You cannot use or refer to your metaphors. Even if it is generally accepted that men should be fluent in “women metaphors”. You simply cannot know when is “yes” “no”, when is “its ok” “hell no”. If she said it, she better meant it. Full stop. NO METAPHORS

Well, you gotta have to do some sales to get these 3 signed, but once done, maaaan its fun!
