Igor Orlov said that the region does not plan to interrupt the construction of the EcoTechnoPark Shies landfill, despite the protests of citizens.

“And where to put the garbage? If Peter takes [the garbage] to himself, then I give up [from the landfill]. Will Peter take the garbage for himself? ”, Said Orlov on April 9 to the Fontanka correspondent on the sidelines of the Arctic Forum in St. Petersburg.

The Governor of Pomorie noted that "always in dialogue" with the citizens of the region. At the same time, he was surprised at the issue of readiness to go to the demonstrators, who on April 7 began an indefinite protest in Arkhangelsk. “I don’t go to illegal meetings!”, Orlov retorted, calling the correspondent “madam”.
