Head to the city of Osaka in Japan and one of its residential neighborhoods where this sharehouse is located at the intersection of two streets.
A sharehouse is a residence for rent in which one has one's own room and also has a common area to share with the other tenants, where one can share and exchange.

With this project, the main goal of the SWING architects was to find out how they could create a spacious house on a plot of less than 100 m2, where each occupant would have his own space and where the common rooms would be quite spacious and connected with the building. outside without vis-à-vis.

One of the most important elements in sharehouse projects is to have spaces that can not be found in a single studio. The architects wanted to create a festive and playful space in the daily life of its occupants, where the ordinary and the extraordinary blend into this space with individual and common characteristics. They took care to keep a proper height for each room, considering the balance between the closed space for the rooms and a sense of openness to the common living room. The view through the mezzanine window on the trees lining the street guarantees an open atmosphere. The house hosts eight different lives under one roof!
