Founded in a garage in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, Apple began as a personal computer pioneer that today makes everything from laptops to portable media players. Headquartered in Cupertino, California, the consumer electronics giant entered the smartphone market with the iPhone in 2007, and the tablet market with the iPad in 2010, and the smartwatch market with the Apple Watch in 2014.

A photo purporting to show the iPhone 8's camera has revealed the internal build for the module, which is rumoured to have a 3D scanner that can unlock the phone with facial recognition. It could also be used for the teased augmented reality applications, according to 9to5Mac.
The source behind the image has previously posted pictures of the iPhone 8 screen, although there is no way to confirm that the leaks show Apple's device.
The new pictures come after reports that the iPhone 8's facial recognition software will be able to scan users in "millionths of a second", a speed that would make it capable of replacing Touch ID.
"The new facial recognition scanner with 3D sensors can deeply sense a user’s face in the millionths of a second," said a report in the Korean Herald newspaper
