New iPhone and my opinion on Mac vs Windows

Hallo my friends. As you know Apple has showcased it's new iPhone 8 and iPhone X this Tuesday. Some people were disappointed but I actually think the iPhone X is pretty cool.

I really like the design of the iPhone X whereas the new iPhone 8 looks just like a "normal iPhone". If the price wouldn't be too high for the average consumer (like all iPhones) I would actually consider to buy one. Also the inner life of the new iPhones are something too look at. The chip sounds pretty good and I like the hardware-sided neuronal engine for facial recognition. Maybe you can use this for special AI-Apps later.
To conclute this section I have to say that Apple has some of the very best mobile phones available but it all comes with it's price...

As I visited an Apple shop lately I would like to take the chance to talk about some other Apple products I saw and their competition as well. I'll start of with the watch which is the best in the market for me. It has the best design and at least for me a little easier to use than the Samsung Gear S3 at the first try. The downside of it is that you can only use it with an iPhone. So if somebody would like to give me $1.5k for an new iPhone and an Apple watch feel free to do so ;)

Another think is tablet, laptops and home PCs. I don't want to talk about tablets, because I normaly don't use any. Concerning laptops and PCs I'll like to compare them to Microsoft's Surface series which has become a big compeditor. In the past Windows laptos where just laptops but since Microsoft started it's wide Surface brand the design started to become as good as apples and I think MS gained some ground in the offices around the world. The MacBook is still a very good laptop but there are two thinks why the Surface Pro or Surface Book are better. First they have a touchscreen, which for example is awesome if you are an engineer and want to draw some technical stuff. Second you can remove the display from the keyboard and use it as a tablet so you have two in one for the same price (MS and Apple have similar prices in this section).
Last but not least the iMac. I always thought Apple's monitors are very good looking and I still do. The main pro for an iMac is that you don't need a clumsy box under your desk like you have to with Windows and Linux. But wait... Microsoft has somethink like this too now. It is called Surface Studio and again has a touchscreen where iMac does not. But there are some downsides on the Surface Studio and these are the strange 4:3 display which is good for a laptop-sized devise but not for such a big monitor and that is costs thrice as much as the iMac.
Oh and there is one more thing. The keyboard of the iMac has very small keys and I find it hard to type whereas the Microsoft keysboards are suprisingly good!

So are you iPhone or Android, Mac or PC?
I personally think (if you don't look at prices) Apple has best Phones and Smartwatches and Microsoft has best PCs and Laptops.
Please tell me what you think (and why maybe just buying some hardware together and than use Linux is best for you ;D ).
