We cleaned the Venice beach with staggering numbers! The ocean continually left ...

in #appics4 years ago

... huge amounts of rubbish onto the shoreline with each wave. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see!

There was just so much plastic and Styrofoam. In hindsight, our organization is grateful that the ocean had large waves that morning enabling us to help capture it all. It was terrifying to see but looking at the glass half full - thank goodness we were there to capture it all before it went back into the ecosystem.

Thank you!! It’s heartbreaking to see! This is the second beach cleanup in 2020! I will be posting more. It’s an ugly reality. I hope to encourage more people to get involved!

Do you plan to visit India - the mumbai beaches to be specific, they are in a really bad shape! Can we collaborate and do something about it..??

Wow what a great job you did 💪 thanks for getting together to clean the oceans 🌊 more people should do this

Thank you!! And yes! They should! This is the 13th each cleanup we like to call #pickupforparadise 💕💯🌟

Nice work 👍🏻 we have to protect the ocean for next generation 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Not just for the next generation but even our generation. There is more plastic in the Pacific Ocean than their is phytoplankton that produces 70% of the oxygen we breathe!! Thank you for you comment!

These numbers are insane! Thank you for sharing this and motivating people to help clean our beaches! Great job! 🙌🏾

Thank you for your comment!! If you liked to see more of our numbers, we have them up on ftht.org ✨😇✨🌈❤️
