Acharang Labong - ( Pickled Bamboo shoots )

Hello fellas! Another filipino recipe that I want to share with you. Atcharang labong.
Philippines is not only rich in culture and resources but we also take pride in our delicious delicacies from each region.

This mouth- watering recipe is best accompanied with warm rice, but also good as side dish for fried or grilled- food or serve as appetizer as well.

We Filipinos, cook bamboo shoots in various way, it's either stew, saute and pickled.

Bamboos shoots grows abundantly in tropical areas. The shoots are the fast growing grass we know as bamboo that is edible to human. The shoots are sweet and tender as long as you plant in fertile soil.
