CCC Review: Weirdo v. 3.1 from Cirque Coffee Roasters (Tulsa, OK)
Appics Review Summary:
Weirdo from Cirque Roasters in Tulsa, Oklahoma is perhaps my favorite coffee of the moment, and quite possibly the best blended coffee I’ve ever tasted. This 50/50 Guatemalan blend of washed and natural-processed beans literally has notes of peanut butter and grape jelly in the cup. It’s a modern blend with delicious complexity for days. CCC Score: 91/100
It’s very rare that I taste the same notes in a coffee that are advertised, but this one truly delivers. I wasn’t sure what I would think about a coffee boasting peanut butter and jelly flavors, but it totally delivers and it is amazingly delicious. These tasting notes are from the Aeropress, but I have also prepared this coffee in a drip coffee maker, as well as in pour-over, and it is amazing in all venues. Special equipment is not necessary to pull out the notable flavors in this coffee. That said, I highly recommend the Aeropress for preparation. I am a bit biased to that method, but it really delivers a sweet and balanced cup with this blend.

Mmmm, this one sounds really delicious!
It's seriously incredible. Honestly, my favorite coffee of the present moment—and also on my all-time list for sure. I talked with the owner of the company about it, too, and they’re so intentional about their sourcing and artistic in their blending and roasting—and you can tell it in the cup. I've had this bag for a couple of weeks and it's hard not to just drink it every day. Also--for boutique coffee—at $16ish for a 12oz bag, the price is pretty good, too. Much better quality for the money than that expensive one I got in the mail the other day (which, by the way was super disappointing...I'll be reviewing it soon).
Mmmm, sounds pretty Good and the price is right for the taste and quality by the sounds of it, one day when I have more money, I will have to try it if it can be ordered!
The order link is on my full in-depth SteemPeak review. I always post the links to the roasters there. :) Well worth it if you get the chance. Highly recommend.
Ok cool, thanks!
