... passed away, leaving a multitude of paintings, drawings and sculptures and plenty of wisdom about architecture, music, mathematics, engineering, anatomy and many more topics. Some of his most famous works are the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and the Vitruvian Man. His genius is so comprehensive, that he is being revered all around the world, wrapped into mystery for the vast knowledge that he had and encoded into his work.

The book "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown is one the highest selling books of all time and dives deep into the riddle of Da Vinci, the Templars and Jesus Christ. As I am writing this, the Louvre is featuring 11 of his paintings and 22 of his drawings in a special Da Vinci exhibition, celebrating his 500th anniversary of his death and showing the world once more the importance of the kabalistic Master Numbers 11, 22 and 33 (11+22).

But even more important in this ritual is the number 500, which represents the life-span of the Phoenix, before being reborn out of his own ashes. The phoenix symbolizes "renewal in general as well as the sun, time, the Empire, reincarnation, resurrection, life in the heavenly Paradise, Christ, Mary, virginity, the exceptional man, and certain aspects of Christian life". Fascinatingly, these features are found all over Leonardo's work as well and the focus of the "Da Vinci Code".

In the next post you will learn why his birthday and current age of 567 years also connects to the Phoenix.

Thanks for the background knowledge. Was that the Phoenix on the Economist front page in 1988? Is that perhaps even related to the cover of 2019 and Davinci?

Yes, that is correct. The cover pointed to 2018 but I do believe it is connected to Leonardo as well.

mindblowing 🙃
