I love taking off because acceleration feels like freedom to me, but then the panic as I start to land, the earth coming up to meet me, jet powered freedom lost for the drudgery of motive force from the legs, the crowded aisles when trying to disembark, people jostling all in a rush to go somewhere, anywhere but the air starved atmosphere of the plane.
I dislike this bit, can you tell? <3
Haha, yes. I actually like the process of flight but everything surrounding it sucks.
