Yes, Ephesus was the epi-centre of the Church. The book of Ephesians was named so because it was addressed to the believers in Jesus Christ in Ephesus and elsewhere in the Roman Empire. Ephesians chapter one, verse one of the New Testament of the Holy Bible.
