That is a beautifull piece. I hate the look of new furniture. My mom delt in antiques so the house was full of great stuff. Sometimes I would come home and the place looked like we wer robbed. But mom just had a dealer friend stop by that was looking for a certain era of furniture for a client and everything had a price. Within a month the house was full of fantastic new/old antiques again, until the next time.
I have one more piece that my dad and I worked together for months to restore. He used it for a few years and then gave it to me. It really meant a lot to me that I ended up with it. It was a cousins mother's. So another family treasure.
