What Is a post? What Is a Qualitative Post On steem?
Navigating the sequence of the tide on steem, one might swim across a lot of information, if you bury your nose in the process of reading like a book worm.
With some pieces of writings hitting you with a wave of information, and others streaming with a bit of entertainment, with lots of persons discovering some educative content in the process.
With this been said, many might wish to find out, what yard stick should a qualitative post be measure with. What is the natural attire of what a traditional post on steem should be?
- Some say: it most deliver on a certain amount of words (750 words and 3 images), while others say: make it lengthy and lose the concentration of the reader before the hit the end.
- Some say: your command of English language most be massive, while others say: we are not native English speakers, so how do we swing our word control in English Language?
- Some spice their piece with videos, others slide around with a preference for images.
With this sea of variance on the subject matter @sndbox births a question in her weekly question and answer session, a question that has left many minds second guessing with scattered pieces of information.
What Is a post?
With this question, comes up a stream of assessment spinning and turning, all buzzing through my mind in no particular direction.
A post in my best definition might therefore be, a piece or content that might include but not restricted to a video, picture, an artistic design illustration and/or apiece of writing that beams light into vague shades that circumvent aound a subject, birthing a clear view to restricted edges of understanding.
A post meets up with quality when it sparkles light and insight to the minds of the audience giving sight the blind
But over the period of time of my navigation on steem, I have interacted with more than a few steem-users, that are thrilled by different subjects and follow different approach to create content
- @d00k13 an all out vlogger, who wouldn’t do a post without a video.
- @crypto.piotr would always wish to deliver content that circumvent around Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology.
- @flash07 is a guy with a perfect understanding for detecting fraudulent ICOs.
- @jodekss Would always slide around with the techniques of a technical economist.
- @jadams2k18 usually massive with his comprehensive reviews, delivering contents that gives massive overviews and summaries on new blockchain projects.
What Is a post?
How does the mind of these steem-users come up strong with a conclusion on quality, when it comes to content delivery, especially when the content sways away from the subject that will traditionally tickle them to their toes.
For me, I am tickled to my toes when it comes to Architecture. I can talk about Architectural designs process without a break, for as long as forever. It is also easy to see if you watch closely that my love for crypto-finance is headed to the moon. Reviewing new blockchain projects makes me excited. With this said, how do I deliver contents on this subjects that fuels my ecstasy. How do my Post slide around, you might wish to ask?
I am a big all big time blogger, so I can't be restricted to an amount of words (as writing and kicking words around is my thing).
I would say My post follows a rhythm that streams around this spectrum:
- First off, I try to anticipate questions that bug the minds of the Audience with my content
- Next off, for me: A good post should birth answers to those questions
- These answers should be grounded in data to proof its authenticity
- My requirement for delivering a good post slides are the post been able to have good teaching frequency or ability
- It should come up strong with the full story
- Trying to be coherent when detailing my post tops my agenda
- It should have a good logical structure like Maths

My answer is same as @crypto.piotr's answer - they not only read it but also share their thoughts on the same.
The post become quality post not based on the images, video, number of words - but it becomes quality post when people not read it but also understand it. I don't consider words limitation for the quality post - even sometimes single sentence or 1 paragraph speaks thousand things and the post made with 1500 make no sense. When people understand it, get inspired/motivated, start to relate them or their conditions or take their few valuable minutes to what it is about then it will be quality post for sure. When people are sharing their views/ commenting honestly on post consider it's quality post.
Like your post - see I am sharing my views and just writing things whatever I am relating with it. Because it forcing me (in good way) to share my views.
So I think what you write here is quality post 😌
