It is a very, very big hat.
This is not only a pretty shitty piece of "plagiarism", I doubt the artist who "copied" the idea of a woman with an umbrella (a common motif) made as much money as you made out of this shitty post. These two pieces are barely similar. It is like the copycat had no idea how to paint and they used the idea for mere practice, kind of like how an art teacher might make you try to imitate the "Mona Lisa". All you plagiarism fear mongers need to get over EGO and realize that there is no such thing as an original idea, therefore, no such thing as plagiarism. Steemit stupidity can eat shit and die, friend. I get tired of your posts and their high payouts because humanity is as ignorant as the mouse going for the cheese....
It is shitty. I just took up painting a few months ago, and its better than my earlier stuff and not as good as my recent stuff.
However, for me, I sold this for $50 to a guy at a local show.
This basement dweller had to search for the source only to end up sourcing a pirated VK image, 4 days after he asked me about it, and made $14. My painting was done in 3 hours after work.
I have been trolling a lot longer than I've been painting. I just do this for my mental health and could care less about the $.01 my little post netted. This is golden.

Besides, you seem to miss the more obvious forms of "plagiarism" but, fail to call them out. What about @elenasteem and her obvious rip-off of the Giger Alien facehuggers??? God, I fucking hate people. I really can't wait for our species to be exterminated.
It is not plagiarism if you give attribution or if the source is self evident as in the case of the alien movie character. Attribution and deception (fraud) is at the core of plagiarism and its defining feature.
What about all of the kids on here with their shitty anime drawings? You never call them out. Often, I think you are creating these plagiarism posts out of thin air.
