Anorexia Nervosa
I stumbled on a friend last Sunday.. I noticed the way she was too particular about her diet.. And when I asked, she confessed to constantly watching her weight and how they always questioned her each time she visits the gymnasium.. I couldn't help but stare and I wished You were there to get a sight of this girl in question. All that ran through my head was "Anorexia Nervosa".

Anorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder often characterised by fear of gaining weight,and a strong desire to be thin,resulting in food restriction. Many people with anorexia see themselves as overweight even though they are totally underweight or normal weight. They weigh themselves frequently and eats small amount of food,some will exercise excessively,force themselves to vomit ,or use laxatives to produce weight loss .. Complications may include Osteoporosis(A disease, occurring especially in women following menopause, in which the bones become extremely porous and are subject to fracture),infertility and heart damage,among others women will often stop having menstrual period.

Symptoms usually include : low weight, fear of gaining weight, strong desire to be thin ,food restriction ,chronic fatigue,depression ,anxiety disorders and insomnia ..its risk factors include: family history, high level athletics,modeling and dancing. Anorexia can be caused by media effect, sociological , biological and psychological factors ..Anorexia is one other killer illness if left untreated. Treatment for an anorexic patient requires restoring the person to a healthy weight,treating the psychological disorders related to the illness and reducing or elimination of behaviours or thoughts originally led to the disordered eating.

Then here comes the big question :why on earth should I starve myself?. #say no to starvation, no to Anorexia Nervosa..

Eating resourceful food..makes lot sense some food aint so good for body ..eating healthy and staying fit is what am baking on to do now..but i tell u this roasted snail in that pepperoni sause making me holalalalala!. Thumps up
