I really don't know why the president gets all the heat from this Immigration crap.
People do not realize that this mess is a failing of congress to perform their duties as lined out in Article 1 section 8 of the constitution.
The same as the "trade war" If Congress actually performed their duties as required by the constitution once again outlined in Article 1 section 8
Then the president does not hold power over immigration or taxes. If there is a treaty He is required to have 2/3's of the senate in concurrence.
I may not be a constitutional scholar but at least I have read the damn thing. Something I can say that our government has not done, cause if they had then the issues they are complaining about are only of their own making.
The only legislation power the president has is to sign Bills into law and make suggestion to congress to consider policy.
