Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is a popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is located at an altitude of 4,130 meters (13,550 feet). It provides stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna massif, including Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchhre (also known as Fishtail). Trekking Itinerary
Day 1: fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara; drive to Sewai; and trek to Chhomrong (2,170 m).
The trip to the Annapurna Base Camp expedition started early in the morning from Kathmandu. A thrilling 45-minute flight will take you to Pokhara. Another alternative is to go to Pokhara in a jeep or bus for nine hours. Then continue driving to Sewai, where you will begin your trekking.
We will continue our trek to Chomrong village after the bus or jeep trip, passing across the Annapurna's longest suspension bridge. We will travel for over two hours to reach Chomrong, passing by villagers and other hikers.
Day 02: Chomrong to Himalaya Hotel (2,900 m)
Enjoy breakfast and the stunning sunrise the next morning. Later, we will begin our hike to the bamboo valley. From Chomrong Village, we will go through farmland, tiny villages, mountains, and valleys to reach Chomrong Khola, where we will cross a suspension bridge and continue on to Sinuwa. We will stop for lunch in Sinuwa, which is 2340 meters above sea level, after an approximately three-hour hike. We will continue our climb to the next Himalayan location after lunch, passing through a bamboo village and dovan. The trek will take us through a forest while passing by a breathtaking waterfall and temple.
Day 03: Himalaya to ABC (Annapurna Base Camp ) (4,130 m) via MBC (3,700 m).
The morning will begin with the target of ascending to Annapurna base camp, which will be our final stop on the journey. After breakfast, we will begin the hike to MBC. We will trek for around three and a half hours before arriving at MBC, where we will stop for lunch before continuing on for another two hours to Annapurna Base Camp.
The ascent to Annapurna base camp involves many thrilling, difficult, and enjoyable steps. The amazing scenery will help you forget about the weariness from the journey, but the greater altitude, thinner air, and chill may make trekking a totally different activity. You will see the beautiful Annapurna summit towering over us all when we finally get to and stand at Annapurna Base Camp. The whole south face of the wall will be visible. The Machapuchare (Fishtail) mountain appears in all its splendor as you turn.
Day 04: ABC to Sinuwa (2,360 m)
We prepare for the breathtaking sunrise above Mount Annapurna by waking early in the morning. Seeing and photographing the magnificent daybreak and golden rays of sunlight through the snow-capped mountains may be delightful. After experiencing ABC's enchanting scene, eat a delicious breakfast and hike down to Bamboo by following the previously used paths. We go from Bamboo through a few hours of deep woodland before arriving in Sinuwa, where we will spend the night.
Day 05: Sinuwa to Nayapul via Sewai and drive to Pokhara
Your final day of travel will begin the descent to Chhomrong. You will hike a steep stone staircase, pass through a dense forest, cross a suspension bridge over the Chimrong Khola, and then continue on your journey. The trail takes us from Sewai to Nayapul, where we take a vehicle back to Pokhara.

The Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek includes a four-night lodge stay at the best lodges and hotels in the trekking regions. The lodges and hotels have comfy beds with mattresses, warm blankets, and soft pillows. But don't expect more luxurious and comfortable service as you ascend higher since it becomes more basic.
