Ganesha is Not Satisfied Without Alcohol & Meat
A small community in the Koppal District is offering whiskey and chicken to Ganesha, opposed to vegetarian meals for Ganesha Chaturthi. A bottle of booze will remain in front of the deity throughout the festival, and libations will also be poured on the idol.
Typically pure water is offered, in addition to honey and milk.
