Elsword game review

Elsword is a free to play side-scrolling 2.5D action MMORPG developed by the South Korean company KOG Games.It includes both pvp(player vs player) and pve(player vs environment) game modes.You can pick from up to 12 playable characters each of them having unique abilities and amazing backstories.Even though the game is free,there are some items that can be bought using real currency via "item mail" service.
The story of Elsword takes place in Elrios,a magic land brought to power by the power of a gem called "El Stone".The El Stone is stolen so Elsword and his team goes on a mission to recover it and bring the thieves in front of justice.While on the road more people join him.There are 10 regions in the game that are divided in subplots.The player is required to complete dungeons in order to advance into the story and level up.
Elsword has skill-based action gameplay combined with role-playing elements and community features typical of an MMORPG, such as guilds, chat, and item trading. Gameplay can be controlled using either a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad. It is based on arcade Beat 'em ups, and require the player to properly execute combos within the specific range of their character.
PVP Experience
Player vs. player (PvP) takes place in a special sparring arena designed for different numbers of players. Up to eight players can brawl at the same time.
PVE Experience
Players traverse the land of Elrios, killing enemies and leveling-up to unlock new job classes and skills. While exploring the world, players travel to ten unique regions, each containing a "hub" town and around five-six dungeons. In towns, players can receive quests from non playable characters, buy items, and interact with other players. Dungeons are instanced, offering co-op play for up to four players at a time. Many dungeons feature branching paths, puzzle-solving, and interactive elements such as collapsing buildings. The game also features a number of special dungeons. Presently, there are 80 different levels.

Types of skills
Different types of skills are unlocked automatically as a player levels up. The player can also choose skill traits for a skill , which gives additional buffs like damage increase, mana usage decrease, and anti-mana break skill, with some cost, a sacrifice like cool down skill or mana usage increase.
Passive - an always-on effect with no mana cost, as long as the conditions are fulfilled.
Active - requires some mana to activate; mana cost and cool down is not high but does not do significant damage.They can damage the enemy,help an ally or can restore health and mana.
Buff - gives a special effect or a power boost for a limited time when activated to the player and allies.They have a very short cool down as they can be easily interrupted.
Special Active - has a special skill image when used. The damage is kind of powerful, so it uses much mana.
Locked Skills - completing a quest is necessary to be unlocked. After completing the quest, Camilla gives the player a skill unlocking book that can unlock a type of Locked Skill.
Chain Skill - Exclusively for Ara, she is able to 'cancel' a skill and continue it with another skill.
Combination Skill - available only for Lu/Ciel. It is a skill that utilizes them both to do a powerful attack.
