Today I'll talk about "Kimi No Na wa", the famous anime that people went crazy, won tons and tons of awards <3

Ye, let not waste anytime and go right in to the review!

Summary/Synopsis:

Mitsuha Miyamizu, a high school girl, yearns to live the life of a boy in the bustling city of Tokyo—a dream that stands in stark contrast to her present life in the countryside. Meanwhile in the city, Taki Tachibana lives a busy life as a high school student while juggling his part-time job and hopes for a future in architecture.

One day, Mitsuha awakens in a room that is not her own and suddenly finds herself living the dream life in Tokyo—but in Taki's body! Elsewhere, Taki finds himself living Mitsuha's life in the humble countryside. In pursuit of an answer to this strange phenomenon, they begin to search for one another.

Kimi no Na wa. revolves around Mitsuha and Taki's actions, which begin to have a dramatic impact on each other's lives, weaving them into a fabric held together by fate and circumstance.

My review: 

1. Plot:

The main story surrounding by the two different lives of Mitsuha- the girl who has a boring life at the countryside and Taki- the boy who lives in the most crowded and cheerful capital city of Japan- Tokyo. They both have a dream in which they become each other, live each other life. However, a dream is still a dream, no matter how realistic it is to begin with. 

Shinkai Makoto is a famous author with numerous of quality animes. I've watched his "5cm per second" anime and spent 1 whole day of being sad and crying (i would probably review it next). 

On this busy life, we are desperate to b free of boring everyday works to move forward, be more brave and accept every challenges on our lives. Everyone wants to meet their destined person, the one that is meant to be theirs, that in the first sight, you've already knew that they'll be yours one and only- That Person. On "Kimi no na wa", Taki is brave enough to do everything that the main male character on "5cm per second" couldn't. That's why "kimi no na wa" is worth watching than "5cm per second".

Also, "Your name" can drive you crazy with emotions. You can be happy, then also not any long later, drowning your eyes with tears. You will find it cute and cheerfully at the beginning, but soon after that, you will see yourself looking for something that you don't even know, messy emotions that can't be describe by words. However, the plot is not messy. It's tightly linked together, every highlights, every details. It makes you hope for the happy ending to happen.

And more than the love between boys and girls, "your name" is a song about how people are connected to each other by a "red string" (akai ito). 

I rate the plot: 10/10.

2. Sounds and Graphics.

I love the OSTs <3 They're all chill, relaxing and emotional. When the scenes are sad, the OST made it even sadder and sounds melancholy.

The graphics are also awesome! They're well-drawn in every single details. I love the landscapes and how they mixed the color harmonically.

Graphics rating: 9/10.

Conclusion+ Overall rating:

A wonderful anime which left so many mixed emotions to the audiences. The opening and the ending are tightly linked, the psychological development of the character is extremely reasonable. The speeches are elaborate but don't sound unnatural. The anime is happy, lightly and funny at the beginning and gets intense time by time, make the audiences curious. A movie with a lot of emotions, some scenes can cause your heart to choke to some other make you want to "melt". An open end as usual, tilted toward a satisfying posture for the viewer. "Kimi no nawa" is like a great morning cup of tea with full of  sweet, bitter flavor. Let's enjoy the magic of miracles and love to dissolve in the extreme of emotions!

I love this anime so much that I totally recommend it to anyone. No wonder why it won't so many awards, because it's definitely worth it!!!
