I have to talk about my favorite animes.
Anime is honestly kind of a big part of my life, considering my art is mainly anime styled, so why not talk about my favorites and ones that inspire my art?

Number one;

I would say, would have to be the first anime that got me into watching animeInuyasha! I first saw Inuyasha when I was younger because my father watched it and I thought it always looked cool. Also, let's face it, Inuyasha was my first anime crush.

Number two;

Fairy Tail. I was super obsessed with this anime at one point because.. Well, why not? I thought it was a cute anime, I liked the art style of it and the story was interesting (even made me cry a couple times)!

Number three;

Death Note! I recently watched this anime with my boyfriend and finished it after basically binge watching the last season. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. I cried a few times throughout this one too! :P

Number four;

Can't forget one of my all time favorites! Absolute Duo! This one was so good and definitely will always be on my top list of favorites. This one is super cute, funny and also has an interesting storyline.

Number five;

Kuzu no honkai (scum's wish). I really liked this one. It was a bit confusing at first since it jumped around a little, but I'm definitely glad I finished it. It's a unique one. I found this one when I watched an AMV haha! The video I watched grabbed me and I had to watch it. I'd say it is also one of my favorites. It's messed up but worth the watch, I'd say.

Number six;

To Love Ru. This one is... Interesting, to say the least. Haha! I don't remember how I stumbled upon this one, but it''s definitely one I can't forget. If you like perverse animes, with harems and alien girls, this is definitely the one for you! I mean, that's all I need to say about this one!

Number seven;

Sword Art Online. I didn't finish this one but I got far enough to know that I enjoy it. I'll definitely be finishing this one too. I also really liked the art style of this one as well.

Number eight;

School Rumble. This one was really funny. I didn't like it at first but I ended up enjoying it. This one I also watched with my boyfriend. He suggested it and we watched it together.

Number nine;

Ouran High School Host Club. This one was short but I enjoyed it and it was a good watch. Gotta love those twins haha.

And last but not least, number ten;

Your name. This was such a great movie. At first I was confused a lot but it explains everything the further you go. I would definitely recommend this one as well.

These are in no particular order. Just my top ten favorites. :D

I watched a lot of anime. I think that many people, even if they did not master these anime, certainly heard about them. Many of today's productions have a very similar theme and it seems difficult to find something original and interesting

Of all animes you listed the only one I'd watch (read) again is deathnote.
The suspense was from another world.

Death Note was definitely really good. I'd watch it again as well. Have you seen Absolute Duo, because I recommend that one. Depending on what kind of anime you like actually.

I'm a big fan of the seinen demographic, and I love animes that have a psychological twist to them.

I might check out Absolute Duo when I get into the anime mood again.

Kuzu no Honkai (Scum's wish) had a messed up plot and had a lot of twists in it. It was kind of a drama type, if you're into that.

I like drama everyonce in a while, got some dramas on my watchlist.

Ah, okay okay. Anything you've seen that you can recommend?

Yeah.

  1. Death Parade
    2.Black Butler
  2. Psycho-Pass
  3. Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood
  4. Bakuman

Those are some fantastic series right there. From different genres worh different themes.

I've wanted to watch Black Butler but never got around to it, but thanks! I'll check them out when I can. :3

If you are into "not what it seems" anime, watch Puella Magi Madoka Magica but don't look up anything about it. Trust me. Watch it with fresh eyes. :)

I tried to watch one of the movies but I couldn't get past the art style. I'm too picky on styles. xD

Some other that are in the same category:
Gakkou Gurashi
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Shinsekai Yori
Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru

Thanks! I'll look some of these up. :) Thanks for the suggestions!

The Smurfs Tho I do not think they are classed as anime more as toons.

I used to watch The Smurfs as a kid because my mum used to love them too, haha. :)
